For a low-cost version of "going out to eat" just do coffee and dessert. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
Almost every city/town has their own version of Embers, Perkins, etc. where you can go for a slice of pie, muffin, etc. and a coffee or soda. You can sit and talk for an hour over pie and coffee for a low-cost yet effective 'date'.

My husband and I do this together often. It gives us special time to focus on each other and talk.
