This one works especially well if you are lucky enough to live near a wonderful beach or lake, or a rec area.
A couple of our favorite picnics have been at night (or in the evening when the sun is going down).
We would swing by KFC and grab a light meal and head to the beach. In the evening the crowds are gone and it is more private and quiet. We would sit on the beach, eat, talk and watch the waves. At night the waves in the pacific are glow in the dark green. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
Walking on the beach at night is a winner as well.... with no picnic.

This sounds like a romantic idea! With our busy schedule, sometimes we only have the evenings to be together anyway. We will have to try this soon!
