Hi Guys,
I was out with the snow blower today and was thinking about this. Like what else do you have to do except think standing behind a gas powered engine following it around. The damn blower does all the work. I just aimed it at the snow. That took skill. You have to be able to recognise the difference between frozen water and trees. I did well. Ok, I hit one tree but it came out of nowhere, I swear.
Somehow the saying made more sense to me late at night when I was tired as hell. Now I'm not so sure. Does this also mean that the S feels this about the OP? That they will never forget them? Am I getting the short end of the stick once more. Will HBO have another stupid movie on tonight? So many questions I have.
If Bill short changed me on the passage and you have the full text, I would appreciate if you would Email me with it. Moose7771@AOL.COM.
And Bill, I'll get you back in Wilmington this year.
This comes from the village idiot. For real do you think this applies to the OP?
Tim

Medic,
I really appreciate your posts.
Maybe it does apply to the OP, so what? I don't mean to sound flip, but I think you (and I and many of us here) need to remember we must be the best for ourselves (and our children if any). It keeps me going.......usually.

Bill,
I just tried to send it to you. I don't know if it went through. Tell me if you got it!
------------------
"If you can learn from the mistakes of others, you won't have to make them youself."
lady_divine77@yahoo.com

Me Again,
Slight delay in responding. T2 just called from college. He was in severe babble mode. They had a snow day. No classes. He wouldn't shut up! [Just kidding, I love him like a son] Oh, wait, he is my kid. What a nut! I have no idea where he gets that from. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
It seems that there is an ever growing population of us heading towards the end of our married lives. This is not the resolve we were looking for, or at least not me and from reading posts not yours either. It's not over until the fat lady sings or until your S finally gets tired of replacing cut off tire stems. Only fooling, I don't know any fat ladies that sing.
The unabridged version of the saying kind of struck a nerve. Like getting hit in the jimmy with a tennis ball. That's gonna leave a mark.
Des & Alex,
Today it looks like we are all in the same boat. Of course tomorrow may shead a different light. Who is that red head in Titanic and why did she survive? Is that her real hair color? I know I'm thinking too much.
Jamie-Lee & RCoaster,
I'm sorry I am not as familiar with your stories. I have been working 16 hour shifts lately. I do appreciate your responses and will try to keep up. This place has saved me from ending up in the Psych ward. I hope you have also found some solice here. There are some really great folks here. Unfortunately I am not one of them.
Oh, RC,
BTW, I'm feeling much better about myself. I took a look in the mirror and said "WOW, what a good looking Guy" right before it broke.
Thanks for your thoughts.
See you Guys in the funny pages.
Zippy the Pinhead.

Hi ya Medic,
I had the same response as you when I read the same part you posted first. Is that how hubby feels about OW now?
The whole thing is great but, still when your unsure of your loved ones feelings towards you and towards the OP then you can't help but wonder and get melancholy sometimes.
Glad to see you are moving along and keeping busy. Have you thought about snow boarding yet? Still think you and T2 should give it a try.
Talk to you soon!
------------------
God bless you and all of us. We are all going to make it, all of us! With God on our side we can't loose. What God has joined together let no man put asunder.
Samantha

Back to the top....Medic and others, I agree how do we really know this does not apply to the OP our spouses have met??? That's my quandry, I started another passion thread for new input from newbies. My wife and I had a discussion today ( I know S Harley said to avoid it, but I had to know where she was "at" in her mind). Still says "never had it never will".

Gee Medic...
When I read that quote, I thought the same thing....does this apply to OP? 'Cause if it does, I really want my H to forget about her.

Medic238,
I hope you don't mind me correcting you...BUT you are a great person!!! Don't you ever doubt that. I've read a few of your posts and replies and it didn't take me long to figure that out. SO NOW YOU STAND CORRECTED [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I know what you mean, I think balancing my job, my daughter, and most of all God's grace keeps me sane or else I'd been admitted in a white shirt a long time ago. Yes I have found this site to be very helpful and that is because of a lot of great people, including you.
Stay encouraged and Be Strong.
------------------
"If you can learn from the mistakes of others, you won't have to make them youself."
lady_divine77@yahoo.com

Hey Medic,
thanks for that, and everyone who posted added bits to it also.
It's funny you should mention 'compass' medic, I've been spinning with no particular direction in mind for about 2 months now !!!
I also wondered whether it applied to the OP too, however, I don't really give a damn......... (isn't that the saying ???)
I know what I feel, and I think I know what he feels. I'm sure all of us are in the same boat - we just want our normal, sane lives back. They must want that too.
I will keep trying to pray for all of us here, we are trying so hard. Well, maybe I'm not any more, but I decided that if he didn't want me, that was ok, it was his choice. I will move on, and so will everyone here. I sincerely hope that for everyone else, you all move on with your loved ones, and you especially. I've heard in your posts the love you have for Val, although the last post I read you were questioning that ?? I've been away, and not been on the board for a while, has that changed. ??
I hope you are still trying for your marriage, I still feel it is the most sacred thing we can enter into.
Anyway Medic, it is now 1 a.m. here in downtown Brisbane, groovy little place that it is !!! and I need to get to sleep.
I hope you are keeping well, and out of trouble, that snowblower gave me some cause for concern !!! Do you need a licence to operate one of those ??? don't get much snow here in Brisbane !!!
Take care of you
Jo
