The kids spent the weekend, well Sat afternoon and all day Sun, except for my daughter who spent Sat nite at her friends, and they were to come home today. X usually drops them off in the morning and they walk to the bus.
However there was no school today because of an ice storm so I called x and let her know figuring they would stay with her till she had to go to work at 2:30.
As I was getting ready to leave, my son called and said they were on there way home. I told him that I was working away from home and wouldn't be here.
I called home about 10:30 and the kids were there. X just dropped them off and when back to her place. She didn't even feed them.
I noticed she called around 1:00 and I was home by that time. She never did call back.
I thought some of the carelessness would wear off by now, but she is still oblivous to what is going on around her, especially with the kids.
------------------
"You can't always get what you want! But if you try real hard, you might just find, you get what you need!"
Mick Jagger

Bob,
Sorry for your children and you, too.
One morning your XW will wake up and realize the kids are grown and that they aren't close to her at all and she will wonder why they love you so much and hardly give a care about her......!
DEsiree
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
