Bill,
Your friend sounds right!! It kind of reminds me of Jim's saying, you hate the sin, not the sinner.
Of course YOU LOVE HER!!! We all love our spouses no matter what they have done. Thats why we are such great people.
Glad to see your update. I'm hoping for the best for you. Bill,
Some of this is just little ole PlanB working it's magic...helping you to cope. Someimtes you need to feel and then release the resentments in order to feel better in the long run.
Hang in there...
Desiree
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
Hey Bill,
It really does get easier with the passage of time. Your mind will become clearer. It has been said that the betrayers are in fantasyland, the park that never closes.
We, the betrayed, are also in a fantasyland to be named at a later date. Hey, this can't be happening to me. I can't wait to wake up from this nightmare.
I am at the point where I can think about "them" being together. If it be out to dinner, a movie, or what ever else. It doesn't really bother me anymore. The thoughts don't have that vomit producing feeling that they once had. I'm growing.
It's Zippy's time again. I am almost 100% back to the outgoing, wierd sense of humor complete idiot that I really loved [Val surpressed the real me] and that everyone else seemed to like.
Things are going well for me and they will for you as well.
Keep posting, Bud. We will all make it through this together.
The Pinhead.
