Hello to all,
I went to light my MB prayer candle and found that it was pretty much "burnded to the wick"(it was one of the 8" pillar ones too-really huge). Guess it's time to go out and get another one. I'll light a taper for now but don't think it will last.
To all the "newbies",
A while back some dear MB friends started a tradition of keeping a flame going. If you care to join in please do.
------------------
Love and Prayers
Nicole

Hi, yes someone told me they were burning a candle and had a prayer for me, now I understand. I will burn one with you as soon as my mental state is a little better. I honestly am afraid I will burn the house down on accident.
My goal will be to light one starting next week. I always burned candles, as a matter of fact, I just realized I haven't lit a candle since xmas day, and that was the one thing in life that calmed me. Funny how life turns upside down and everything that was important, changes.
That is a great idea, I will join you soon!! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)

I've got 5 burning right now. I just went out and bought an aroma therapy candle today, it smells wonderful.... very calming and relaxing.
I've always loved to have candles burning, it makes everything (except laundry ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/rolleyes.gif) ) seem like a special event/occassion.
Thoughts & Prayers to all,
Butterfly
------------------
There are deep sorrows and killing cares in life, but the encouragement and love of friends were given us to make all difficulties bearable.
-- John Oliver Holmes
The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.
-- Elie Wiesel

[This message has been edited by Butterfly (edited February 23, 2000).]

Peggy,
I leave mine burning when I am at home and awake(except when one of my kids blows it out LOL).
I usually say a little prayer before I light it. Some people send off good thoughts to those they are thinking about etc. It's entirely up to you.
------------------
Love and Prayers
Nicole
