Hi all,
I have been keeping up plan A, although sometimes it seems like me opening my mouth at all is a LB.
I have been trying to do some of the things in How One of YOu Can Bring the 2 of You together too. So I wrote him a love letter and I also told him in it I was working on changing some of my behavoirs to try and be more open and share my feelings, things that he had indicated were a problem for him. So I left him the letter and as usual I got no response from him.
Now today I come home from work and he isn't here so I'm back in suspicion mode. Maybe he is someplace innocent, maybe not.I had thought he was cooling it with her, but I just feel so drained. I wish I could get some sign that he even wants to try with me. I feel so silly thinking about ending my marriage over what is probably an emotional affair, but I don't know how much longer I can stay in this difficult relationship.
I'll probably feel differently tomorrow, but today it doesn't seem worth it.
Maybe I will go take a walk and see if things look better. Hey Lora,
your post brought back so many memories, of times past for me.
I was in exactly the same situation last July/Aug.
I left, and moved 1000 miles away, to be with my family.
It is still going on, the feelings of when is he going to sort himself out...
I have my doubts that he ever will.
I'm sorry this is not an uplifting post, however, the old adage that time does heal is true to a certain extent.
I also just wanted to post and let you know that there is someone else who has been there, and knows how you feel.
In the beginning, until I found this site, I really thought I was only one who had ever gone through this, and felt the way that I did. What a shock to find so very many others. I have found, and made, so many wonderful friends through this site,
thinking of you, and sending a hug
Jo

Lora,
MONDO HUG!!!!!!!!!! Understand how you feel. Not getting a response is hard sometimes. I have gone to reading thwe nonverbals: tone in voice and body language to see what feelings are there because that is where most of the communication is.
------------------
God Bless,
Rob
regilmor@swbell.net

Thanks to all who replied. I went for a walk and was able to great him with no LB or questions. So of course he didn't tell me where he was, but he was wearing the shirt she got him for his birthday and he was very distant. He had a bad week at work so he went to see his friend that makes him feel better, sure is short lived though as he is grumpy by the time he gets home.
Jo, Thanks, it is good to know we are not alone isn't it? I have friends that live in Aust-Ourimbah. We went to see them a few times.. loved it!
Allen, I love him, but I can start to really beleive in that love bank theory, because I can feel my love diminishing with each avoidance of my touch.
Student wife, Jill and Nicole, Thanks for the support , hugs and love. I don't know how I would go on without this support.
Rob, I have followed your story and it means alot to me that you took time to reply to me. Unfortunatly his body language does not give me much hope.
Lora
