I read your profile and boy can I relate! That's exactly where I am now. My H and I have our first appointment in couples therapy Monday morning and to tell you the truth, I'm scared. I'm not sure what I'm afraid of. I guess I'm afraid that he'll open up enough for me to think that things will change and, like your wife, go back to sweeping things under the rug as soon as he feels comfortable again. It took the threat of me leaving for him to start talking about stuff. I don't want to have to threaten to leave every time he clams up. I want him to get off his butt and enjoy life with me, not just be content existing with me. I'm not content just existing with him. That's for damn sure. Life is for living.<P>It's really hard to meet someone's needs if they don't appear to have any.
