I was having a really bad day Friday. As I sat on the plane I vented by writing it all down in a notepad. And it really helped!
We had a plane to catch Friday. A trip that was originally h and I, but turned into kids too. He told me several times we had plenty of time, then we had to run to catch it. A pregnant woman and two small kids. We hung out too long eating lunch in the airport. (I should wear a watch and not have to rely on him). [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Then we sat apart since we got there late and he didn't want to try to reclaim our seats. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Then we are told the plane is going back to the gate for "maintenance". Know the feeling??? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
He had nonchalantly taken a call on his cell phone while we were running for the plane so I had to "do the kids". He was so friendly that by then I wondered if it was a new OW.
Then reminiscing about what had set me up earlier in the day: I arrived at their preschool to overhear a teacher saying she wished my kids would just stay in California (our trip was to there). Nice lady. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Being down isn't good in many ways. My son took some pictures the night before when I was not smiling, and I looked ugly. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Though I've been good about not dwelling on the past, at lunch I kept thinking about the affairs. Couldn't get out of "the loop".
I'm usually a very considerate person, but I was so pissed by this time, I took out my nail polish on the plane to entertain my 2 year old. The stewadess comes over and tells me it's not allowed, it's a volatile substance. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] THen I hear her telling the others "how rude, etc, and I told her blah, blah..." How stupid did she think I am???
If my h looks at me again to control my D, I'm going to walk off this plane. He's not even trying with my S, he's on his cell again, now we're back at the gate. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [img]http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/mad.gif[/img]
If you're still reading this, actually it's funny when the immediate anger is gone. Things actually got worse, but my anger was gone after I wrote it all down. We were told to get off the plane and we played with the kids at the gate. The plane eventually left, about 7 hours later, no kidding. [img]http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]
But after 6 hours we got off and went to a hotel and had a nice dinner. Made the flight the next morning. After the anger was gone, I got back to the idea that we just make the best of things, and it was wonderful that we started working together to solve the probs. Many passengers complained the whole day was wasted, but for us it wasn't. All 4 1/2 of us were together. If you can't be somewhere fun, why not play in an airport. The kids love it. Oh oh. come on computer
[This message has been edited by schizzo (edited February 28, 2000).]
[This message has been edited by schizzo (edited February 28, 2000).]

I guess there was not really a question in there, but if anyone wants to reply, I've been rather lonely.
