Mitzi,
I feel like I know you so well. Although I did not expierence the physical violence to that extreme....I know how it feels to still love someone who does that. I know how it feels to feel used, old, unloved, but loved. It is so weird. I begged and begged my H to come home. I thought it would be better to walk on egg shells all the time than to be alone and I always held out hope he would be the person he used to be. I am on the board of Domestic Violence in my county. I feel so close to you....understand how you felt/feel and know the confusion it causes.
E-mail me sometime if you need to talk
Kenizanasshl@aol.com
Nancy

Nancy,
It is an awful feeling when you love someone so much that you are willing to sacrifice your whole being to prove that love.
You would not believe the feeling of freedom I have since I made an appointment with a lawyer. I can't walk on eggshells anymore. I did that for too long and up until last week, was willing to do it some more.
God, this place is almost as good as therapy!!
Thanks for the support!
Mitzi

Mitzi,
I'm sorry your situation was what it was... but so very glad you have found the strength inside yourself to move on. I won't re-post all the good advice, you have found the light.
Keep moving forward! We are all here for you.
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{MITZI}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
Love, Thoughts & Prayers,
Butterfly
------------------
There are deep sorrows and killing cares in life, but the encouragement and love of friends were given us to make all difficulties bearable.
-- John Oliver Holmes
The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.
-- Elie Wiesel
