This is my H's post........he needed to vent
I felt I needed to tell you all the whole truth about me and H. Yes, we both had an affair. Yes, H left me for the OW, and then came back home. But, I have not told the whole truth about my affair. After H moved back into the house, I was still seeing the OM, my H caught us and I told him that I wanted to be with the OM, the OM was a better man than H, I wanted a divorce.(even though I figured it out later that he was not half the man that H is). After a little time, my H decided we should work on our marriage, I reluctantly went along. We now move forward to today. I have made my H out to be a cruel, mean, uncaring, lying, discreetful human being - this is all a lie. Yes, H and I have made mistakes in the past, but I would like to set the story straight - H is a great father to our two sons, H is a caring, kind, and considerate person. He is not this awful monster that I have described previously. Thank you for allowing me to tell the whole truth about my marriage.
[This message has been edited by RCoaster (edited March 01, 2000).]

Claire,
Ok, so it's coming out day for you again. It feels good to get rid of it doesn't it? Sorry I can't join you on this one. I completely spilled my guts the other day! LOL
It still does not change the support that you will get here. Now actually it might make it easier to give advice. First things first, don't beat yourself up about things in the past. Work on now!
You know how to get in touch with me if you need to.
(((((HUGS)))))
Mitzi

RC (is your name claire?)
Good for you (mitzi spilled the other day and me today!). I wish you complete happiness and I pray for a full recovery for you both. Maybe you can shed some light on things for us in a different way too!!! You can offer advice from a lot of angles! (now I know why you were on a worse roller coaster than me at times!) [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] I am here to support you and I hope you feel better!!
Dana
Hi RC,
boy, that was different to what I expected !!
It always feels better to come clean though, doesn't it.
I hope you find the happiness we are all looking for, with your H. You'll get no judgement from me, nor anger..... just my friendship and support.
I believe that probably everyone of us here has bent the truth a little, we all have that 'me' slant on things sometimes. Your slant was just a little greater than most !!!! LOL
Anyhow, take care of you, and a big hug for you
Jo

Ah, here comes the parochial school lesson. There are sins of comission and sins of omission. If we actually do it, we sin in the first instance: if we fail to do it, we sin sin the second.
Everyone here tells their story and by necessity from their perspective. My husband is a great man, one of the best people I have ever known. He has also behaved like a jerk. Did I come here to say how great he is? Heck no, I was here to say how hurt I was.
Seems to me that we are here to help each other through times of pain. We all know full well that there is another side to the story, but usually we only have one person on the other side of the screen and we do the best we can for that person.
Darn, I think I'm starting to babble, hope this is of some small help.

H says above: 'after a little time' H decided that we should work on our marriage.
Hello!!! 'after a little time' he decided that he wouldn't be able to live without talking to the OW, and it continues. I also like the mistake about 'discreetful'. I think he meant disrespectful, but I I'm not sure. He is all of the things that he says he is - to our children and others - to me, he still lies.
And about the divorce - might be just down the road.

Wait, I am sooooo confused now. The op was RCoasters h describing himself and pretending to be her ??
Strange days indeed.
RCoaster h, why not post as yourself ? I know it is scary, but my h did it for awhile and no one here bit him.

No one can speak for another person. You and your w see things diffrently, but posting as her isn't a good idea, because we don't know who's talking.
If you won't register why not just start your posts with, this is RCoaster's h not RCoaster, then we won't get confused.

------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.
