I've been stressing and preparing my speech for 3 days. I had it down pat, but it was so hard to get it out. When did it become so hard to talk to him? Why am I so afraid to speak my mind even in a non LB manner? I feel I walk on eggshells trying to not make him withdraw from me further.
So I gathered up my courage and said it just before he left for work. I told him I had been gathering info and working on myself and trying to improve myself and our marriage. I told him I had made mistakes and was trying to work on treating him better. I told him I had been talking to Steve and he asked me to have H call him to give him more imput on my mistakes and behavior so I can change. He listened to me and of course said nothing. I asked him to at least think about it and he said he would.

So now what? I'm thinking I might leave a note with the numbers and a little recap and thank you. Does that sound OK? Any suggestions welcome.
Lora

Lora,
That really sounds like the right approach. I really admire your approach in telling him that you are doing this to improve yourself. This will almost always move the other spouse to also begin to make changes.
I think you approached this very well.
May the Lord Bless You and Keep you.
John

Thanks for the support John.
I had my 2nd session with Steve today. Nothing earthshattering, I am just going to work by trial and error to try and see if I can figure out his top needs and try to meet them.
H has not called Steve yet and I wonder if he will.
However we are going to Hawaii next Tuesday and I am so looking forward to vacation! I am going to try and seduce him if I can get up the courage to face rejection. It has been so long I'm not sure if I remember how. And don't tell me that it like riding a bike theory because I swear I forgot how to ride my bike one summer! So wish me luck, and any male advice for seduction welcome.
Lora
