I havent posted here in a long time, but have been lurking. It has been 18 months and my w has done everything I could ask for,the problem I still cant get the images out of my head their are days I still want a divorce sometimes I dont know if I even love her.Would like to know how Lone star and the others are doing after all this time because i am still in a rut.If you are thinking about an affair divorce instead it is much easier on all involved.

rm465,
I am very new to this site, and I don't know your story but your post was just so sad. Just wanted to say how sorry I am for what you're going through. Those mental images are the worst. There do seem to be people at this site that can put that aside though, but I don't know how.
Is your wife truly sorry for what she has done? Maybe if you try to talk to her about it some more you can understand. Obviously, if what she had was so great she wouldn't be with you. If she has truly repented try as hard as you can to let it to.
I know when H and I are communicating, nothing seems impossible.
Good luck, I am wishing good things for you.
I too have not posted in a long while and been in this mess for 18 months....I found your posting interesting because I am finding myself in the same place. Altho the affair my husband had is just winding down I find myself wondering if I really can get over this. I worked so hard to keep this all together and I now don't know. In your case it is the thought of them together and I guess if i am really honest with myself part of me is effected by that too. I guess only time will tell, and my therapist!!...I wish you luck and hope that we can both keep it together.
Kathy
