Is anyone else out there taking Welbutrin? My Dr. has me taking 2 a day, he said to take one when I got up and one at about 1 p.m. or so. I find that if I do this, I feel edgy all morning, and cry easily. After the second pill in the afternoon, I level out and feel good for the rest of the day. Today I tried taking both pills in the morning and that worked better as far as making me calmer through the day, but I did start getting edgy about 10 p.m., no tears, but a little edgy. Has anyone else had this experience? What did you do about it if anything? I am thinking of asking my Dr about taking 2 pills in the morning and then another late afternoon. Any comments?
------------------
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.

I tryed Welbutrin months ago to try and quit smoking. It was a nightmare for me. I believe it started puting me into a depression. It really was horrible. I couldn't sleep, I cried ALL the time over nothing.
Be really careful about taking them together, my doc said thats a big no-no, risk of seizure!!
I went off and went back on it, cuz I was getting depressed, it still did nothing for me. My doc says it takes a while to get into your system and start working like its supposed to. But don't take them together!!
Just remember it takes time, it may not work for you and you may have to try something else!!
Hope this helps
T

nobeswax,
Welbutrin was no good for me. It gave me a constant buzzing sensation, what I called "eye flashes", and constant twitches. I decided not to stay with it to see if it would level off. Felt better wihtou it than with it.

Thanks for responding.
Troublec: The symptoms you describe are what I was feeling before I started the Welbutrin. It has eliminated them almost completely. I guess it effects different people differently. I will talk to the Dr about taking them together before I do it again. Thanks for the info
2sad4words: None of those side effects, thank God. Sorry it didn't work for you.

------------------
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.
