Hey Lonestar!
Happy B-Day buddy! Long time no hear eh? Yeah, I don't swing by the board all that often?
How are you & the W doing these days? How goes the practice?
My W & I are coming up on the one year anniversary of "D-day" next month. We're already into the time frame last year where her affair took place.
How are you doing with things like dates & triggers? I generally stay positive since things between us are good, but I still have moments of where I think back to the evils of the past.
Have you heard from RJR anytime recently?? I hope her & her hubby are doing well too!
Later, & WELCOME to the 30s!!! (I'll hit the midway mark in August myself. Not looking forward to the big 40 five more years down the road!)
Knifed

Thanks, y'all! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I've been out all day in court. What a wonderful way to spend my 30th! Thanks to all of y'all for the happy wishes! Hopefully my next thirty years will be just as wonderful!
------
Knifed:
Great to hear from you! I've been wondering about you and your W. Hope things are going okay, despite the obvious impending trigger!
Believe it or not, Petunia and I are only 5 days away from the first anniversary of D-Day. It's bugged me a bit, but for the most part, I'm doing fine. She's doing well too.
Things are a HECKUVA lot better now. We're talking and not letting petty things get in the way of our communications. I know it sounds weird, but this affair has really revitalized our marriage. I certainly don't recommend it as a spark, but the way we've worked to overcome it has really been the BIGGEST accomplishment of our lives.
I think the occasional trigger will always be there, but we know how to deal with them now. We don't let them control us, and we talk them out. It's amazing how a little reassurance makes ya feel better.
So, Knifed, how's the new house? I guess it's not really "new" anymore, eh? Y'all have been in it a while now, right?
I'm so glad things are going well for you! One of these days, we'll need to get together for a beer and talk about the "bad ole days!" [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] You're one of the guys (along with RJR(Janet), Broken, Empty Shell, Suse, DMac, Lor, and all the other old timers, who really helped me get through all this. I don't think we'd be here today if it weren't for all you guys!
Keep in touch, buddy!
--------
Hopeful! Thanks for starting the thread! It's nice to be recognized! You're a real doll, and ES is lucky to have you! Y'all hang in there. Your lives are about to change SO much for the better. I can feel it!
------------------
/// Lone Star * ///
