It has been a rough two days. I want to thank you for all of your prayers. They helped so much!
The surgery was long yesterday. He had to have a quadruple bypass, an aorta value replacement and mirto value repair. They didn't find out about the aorta value until they went in. He went to surgery at 7 and didn't come out until around 1.
We saw him in ICU at 3ish. We decide to go home house is about 15 min. away for hospital. And MIL was exhausted she is 76 years old. Around 5 they called us for permission to go back in.
He had started bleeding somewhere so at 6 they went back in. His blood was not cloting right so there ws a lot of seepage. hey had to give him stuff to make him clot, and they had to clean up the blood.
We saw him at about 9 in ICU. We brought MIL home and got her to bed. I am getting ready to go back to the hospital shortly.
The doctor feels confident that he will be okay. BUt when you start out with a mild heart attack and go through all of this, and this is a man who has hardly been sick a day in his life, well you can't help but worry.
Now check out my other post as it will contain good news.
Again thanks for all your paryers. I love you all, I could feel all of your support during this crisis!

------------------
di
