I couldn't reply to you under you other posting as I have a filtered ISP and it owuldn't let me reply with out getting clearance from them.
You may want to do this also, then that temptation will be taken away from you. I use integrity online and there are others. This filter is so strong that I can't reply to any postings that have the world sex or other "dirty" words.
I caught the tail end of a Christian radio show and they were talking about the vry same thing, about how rampant watching pornography has become especially in Christian homes, including clergy. They figured that people are curious and since it can be viewed at home, no one feels like they are committing a sin or hurting anyone.
Another interesting point they brought up was that secular addiction counselors were discovering that religion is the best way to "cure" the various addictions as opposed to secular counseling. They sited the fact that most addicts, of any type, that have kicked their habit, have found God in their lives as the only way to go.
I can understand where you are coming from. Years ago when I traveled, i would get tired of sitting in the hotel room, and instead of drinking or chasing women, I would go to adult bookstores and kill some time. The thing that scared me was all the weirdos that hang out in those places and solict you. That scared me straight !
Hang in there, you can do it with the Lord's help.
God Bless,
Bob
