NSR,
How have you been doing? I haven't had time to post or read for awhile, and I was just wondering if your divorce was still progressing. I filed for divorce last week. I really didn't want to, but I was tired of living the nightmare and felt like I had to protect my D. My H lives w/ the OW, but won't tell me where (I only know that it is very far from our home), and continues to lie about taking my D there for the weekend.
Two weekends ago, my in-laws were expecting my H and D to spend the weekend with them, and they never showed up. I tried paging my H, calling his cell phone and calling the OW's house, but they wouldn't return my calls. I finally had to send a page to my H saying that I was going to call the police if he didn't call me back. When he did call back, he refused to tell me where he had my D and accused me of being an unfit mother and psycho!
My attorney said that I do have a right to know where my D is at, and the conditions that she is living in.
Anyway, I was just wondering if you had any words of advice, or if anything like this has happened to you.
Thanks for your help!
Darlene

I haven't seen one of your posts in a long time too!

Your attorney is so very right in "that I do have a right to know where my D is at, and the conditions that she is living in. "
You've got to follow up on this to protect you D!!! If necessary... you may have to seek an immediate custory ruling and seek supervised visitations! Do talk to your attorney about this.
I'm praying for you... Jim,
Hmmmm...I really don't know where I'm at with my H. It's not really Plan B because we still talk all the time, and as a matter of fact we went to a baptism yesterday together! We had such a good time...it was like nothing had ever changed. When he left, he asked if he could have a hug! Then he left to go back to the OW's house.
Filing for divorce was the last thing that I wanted to do, but I had to do it to protect my D and me. I'm afraid that I would have lost the house and my D if I hadn't filed first.
I read your post...thanks for the update. You and your family are in my prayers too.
Darlene
