My H was a devouted family man. He cried when my children were born.He cared for their needs as much as I did.
Now he says if he leaves they will get over it,
the kids are 14 and 16.
I trusted H with all my heart.I never thought he was the type to cheat on me.He never went to bars,he never left the house hardly. He is still at home, but is in love with ow he met on the internet. Some divorced or in the process of a divorce b****.H and OW
have met once,he denies PA.I intercepted a letter From OW to H A few weeks ago.For someone she has only met once,I cant beleive how she declared her love to him.
Yesterday was our 19th anniversary. He gave me Flowers and a card ,I called him from work and he was on the computer again. I can not beleive he is so insensitive he would talk to OW on our anniversary, but I bet you he did.
Who is this man who lies to me,who acts like its a chore to be with me? Thanks for letting me vent.bethn

bethn,
I will never understand it either. Whatever faults my H had, I always thought he would walk through fire for the kids.
Now he won't do anything for the kids, unless he feels like it. Even at the end of last summer, he at least felt bad about not being able to take our daughter back to college because he had scheduled something else for that time without thinking about it. In the months since then, he has withdrawn so far from them that they are now way, way down on his list of priorities.

Beth:
I'm so sorry to hear how you're hurting.
I hope the week is looking up. It sounds like you are doing everything you can.
Hug your kids (if your teens will let you!). I'm glad you're there for them and one day your H will be really glad, too.
Best wishes to you. --HBC
