Hi, I just wanted to thank those of you who offered such great support when I really needed it. Things at home are some better. H stays home a bit more and is starting to be more affectionate and willing to let me get close enough to be affectionate with him. Unfortunately, he still won't put his ring back on (no, I haven't asked...don't want to fight anymore) and I 've heard no more about his plans to travel to South America to visit "the friend". Another thing that still isn't happening is saying I love you. He used to say it a thousand times a day, now he won't. I still tell him daily though that I love him. Maybe when his head is straight he'll feel comfortable with the words again.
Maybe I am being overly optimistic. But I really think that he'll be able to focus on the reality of what he's messing up when he can feel the baby move. I just don't think it seems real to him yet. (Though he got a good dose of reality this week. The doctors thought something might be wrong because my blood pressure dropped and the baby quit moving...she's okay now though. I think it scared him!)
Anyway, thanks for being there for me.
Kim
