For those of you who read my post back from May 14th I had realized I needed to get out of my funk. Well, I did and had a very good Mother's Day. Got to spend the day with my mom and my D and we had a very relaxed time. I got a message from my H on our voice mail. He called to tell me Happy Mother's Day. Made my ENTIRE day! I called him back and thanked him. We tried to make plans for the evening but it just wasn't going to happen. That's okay, though, at least we talked. Called him last night and we talked for a while again. I think the OW must have shown up at the end of our conversation because he had to cut it short. Then I called my MIL to wish her a Happy Mom's Day and she told me my H had been looking for me all day. He called her and was frantic because he couldn't get a hold of me. Both my MIL and I agree he is starting to see the grass isn't always greener on the other side. He was pretty cocky while the affair was under wraps and during the first couple of weeks after I asked him to leave. Now, he seems to be a little bit sad whenever we talk. I am definitely looking at this as a positive. I continue to let him know I am here for him while still moving on with my life. The baby steps are happening more and more frequently and I look forward to seeing what every new day brings to me.
Have a wonderful day all!!!!!
------------------
Molli

oh, that is great news. hang in there. my H actually loosened up on the "we must separate NOW" line he's been using, says we can discuss it after i take a short vacation to see supportive friends... a toe in the door is better than nothing!
good for you...keep em wondering, that makes them want you!
