Hi Lora -
I will probably pop on and off all weekend......we'll see how it goes. I have a lot of Emails to catch up on and some threads to tend to....
How is it that you have nothing to read? Geez, I still have about 8 books that I haven't gotten to since last year - yes, of course they are relationship books!! I forgot that there of other kinds of books out there for awhile!!! Doesn't everyone? LOL!!!
I wanted to ask you if you ever read through the Read Only Posts? If not, I would like to suggest that you do. There's a lot of good stuff there. We are still waiting for Tempest to give us access to the ones before Aug 99 - they really have the great veterans teaching wonderful things!! Hopefully, we can get them soon.
If you haven't - give them a look-see!!!
It's something to read!!! LOL!!!
Big hugs,
Sheba

Oh Sheba, I went to the bookstore and bought 4 relationship books and have one mystry I'm reading. I think somehow its easier to come here and live vicariosly then to do that harder stuff. Denial?

Yes, I am a compulsive reader, but it has never taken me so long to get through a novel. Hard to focus.
lora

Well, not that I have any good advise...but I am sure I can find something to vent about this week-end. LOL
I think that I have read every relationship book I could.....still have a few others about divorce, affairs, depression...etc. But can't seem to sit still long enough to get "into" one. I catch myself reading the same sentence over and over or I get into it and sometimes I have to go back and reread.
I love reading....but for some reason I just don't have much interest in reading too many books about relationships anymore. Moving on from that...hoping my charm and beauty get me through the next relationship. LOL
Nancy
PS I'll be here...all weekend.

Hip hip hooray,
I'm not alone hanging out over a holiday weekend.
Mental, I think I relied on my charm and beauty getting me though this one and see where I ended up. I better get reading!!!!
Murphy,
I wanted to work out in the yard. I'm always happy to put off housework to pull a few weeds. Maybe there will be sunbreaks.

Hi Lora
Remember us Canadians don't have a long weekend. I'll try to pop in more if you'll all put up with me.
I could probably think of a philosophical thread to start or maybe something nasty [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] like.....nah that's not a good idea.
I have a favor to ask ya'all while I'm here though. Could you throw up an extra prayer for my FIL. He just had surgery and isn't doing great.
You take care girl. Put your feet up and watch the tube for a while. Do something you haven't had time for.
Good Morning Lora!
Is the sun shining there? It finally is here.
Thanks for the prayers for my FIL. He took a bad fall and broke his hip. Has been on oxygen for at least 5 years. The hip needed pins and anesthesia was touch and go. H called last night and FIL is through surgery but not doing great. Still in ICU and the surgery was Thursday.
Thankyou for caring and sorry butting this into your thread.
do you have plans for the day or are you just going to relax and pamper yourself a little? You really should do a little of that you know. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

Murph,
I thought you lived in Seattle. I used to live near Green lake, and find myself a little nostalgic for those single days of hanging out by the lake.
We have had a scanner for over a year and still don't know how to use it.
Lora

Plans? Does grooming the 4 cats and pruning trees count? Maybe camping Sun & Mon, depends on the weather.
Guard & I are planning to go to a wedding for one of his co-workers tonight (OW was a co-worker as well, but most likely won't be there...) Wishing I hadn't gained 10 pounds in April.

Hi Lora,
I took a look at your profile and notice you too live in Gig Harbor, WA (Cromwell). I have been posting to the Plan A/Plan B forum for a week or so now.
I'm recently separated from a serial cheating H.
Went thru 1 yr of emotionally abusive stuff where I Plan A'd to the hilt. Things were getting better then BOOM, OW got a lover and made sure my H found out. We were back to square one or worse. Had to resort to loving ultimatum. He walked, 3/29. Very devistated to say the least.
Still going thru idea that he's really gone. Doesn't feel right, ya know. Aft 20 yrs of being together, wasn't a day go by I didn't at least talk to him.
Anyway, just introducing myself as a neighbor.
Post back if your around and want to.
-Jo

Murphy,
We used to live in Renton. I bought tomato plants and some flowering thingies. Now it sounds like tomorrow might be sunnier.
Lor,
Crazy cat women do not groom their cats!
Where do you live? Hope you have fun camping. I am making some plans to go backpacking with a friend this summer since it seems H and I will not be camping [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Josey,
I was meaning to go read your posts because someone reffered to something in your situation that stuck a cord with me, but I can't remember right now what it was. Sorry you are in a lousey situation too.
I'll go read your post and see what it was.
Lora
