Dear Friends: Well today is my 26th Wedding Anniversary. I don't feel so hot today, but I am here at work. Before I left, I whispered to my spouse "happy anniversary", but he didn't hear me. Oh well, I can't say that I didn't expect this. It will be a long time if ever that we will actually celebrate our years together.
This morning, I noticed two beer bottles in the trash. My spouse usually drinks one beer at night and not every night. My mind started turning thinking that he had to drink two beers to cope with our anniversary date. It's going to be a long day today as well as a long road ahead for us if we don't get our marriage straighten out. He told me that he was not happy about a week ago. He also said that he still hurts from what we went through a few years ago.
I mentioned to another poster that a lot of damage can be done by what is said in anger. I wonder if the damage I have done is irrepairable. I am tempted to leave work and go home, but then I would have to face him and my youngest is around so I wouldn't have time to even converse with him.
We never talk or talk very little. I better go for now. I am getting too depressed and I don't want to go there. Thanks for listening.
