How about the new commercials with Howey Long! My H actually noticed these.He said "that's realy a dumb commercial,why do they have him with these OW when he's a married man w/kids?" Don't even know what the commercials are about but was proud of H for his comment.TV makes me sick!

chris, that is just yucky. especially after seeing my H's cell phone bill...one to me, one to OW.... ad nauseum...no pun intended.

The commercials can be bad. The adage, "sex sells" seems to be used over and over again and apparently the ad folks don't care who is having the sex. I almost expect it from the tv crowd but what really got to me was Dear Abbey. Yes, good old Dear Abbey. I don't know how many of you read her column on Secretary's Day but it made me ill. She ran a VERY old and bad joke about a boss and why he had to fire his secretary - the punchline has to do with him sitting naked in the secretary's living room when his wife and children come in with a surprise birthday cake.<P>I felt really depressed - here is Dear Abbey running a joke about something that is so hurtful to so many men, women and children. I guess I should have written her a scathing letter - but I'm just feeling whipped. Maybe we should all get to together and write the Dear Abbey's and product manufacturers and let them know that there is a LARGE number of people out here (a silent majority perhaps) that are completely turned off by this stuff (Jamie Lee Curtis perhaps excluded for some ).
