Well, my husband came home after an hour and a half appointment with his couselor last night - it was obvious he had been crying - his eyes were all swollen and he kept wiping them while we watched tv before bed.
I feel so bad for him - I know he is going places he never wanted to touch and had buried very deep. Since I have realized and accepted that this is truly sexual addiction, I have been able to see where and why this has happened. I don't excuse what he did, but have accepted it.
I gave his counselor the information about H's past that he needs to help him, but the pain has just begun as the counselor is very good at making him see the truth, and reality of what damage has been done.
My H has just begun a journey that will dig up many demons. His childhood was sad and full of pain, something he denies, but I know most of the truths from his brothers and other family members. After about an hour of watching tv - he reached out to me - he just wanted a hug.
It makes my heart hurt to see him going through this - Thought I'd come here to ask for prayers, if you would, to help heal his heart.
Thanks in advance....J

Hello Genesforme,
Your H and you are both in my prayers this evening. Your post really moved me, I was seeing my H's face and his pain when I was reading.
BTW: There is a recent post from Mrs. O where she really needs encouraging words and our support. Maybe take a look.
Be well and God Bless you both.
Jo

Y'all will definitely be in my prayers! I'm happy to hear that you're both progressing!
