This is the third time I've had this "nightmare".
I'm at a place where it's like a ranch or farm or something, my H and all his friends are there, I try and follow him around to be next to him and he runs from me laughing at me. His friends are laughing too.
I fall into a lake and there are thousands and thousands of man eating fish, they start to eat me alive, first my legs then up up up. I'm screaming to my H to help me, he's standing on the edge of the lake laughing and pointing, then all his friends come to the edge and start laughing too. Then his youngest sister comes up to him and asks him "Why the h*ll are you doing this to her???"
I wake up drinched in sweat and weeping. I feel like if I didn't wake up I would have died. Right now that doesn't sound like a bad idea.
Any qualified interpreters out there?
As far as my visit yesterday to my H new place, it took every ounce of courage I had to go there. It was not fun and faking it was not easy. I saw "THE" bed where they do it, it's hidious, VERY old delapidated four poster bed, it made me sick to my stomache.
Jo
------------------
Josie_Res@Hotmail.com
"Remain flexible like a reed, as opposed to an oak which can snap in the wind"
[This message has been edited by Resilient (edited August 13, 2000).]

There's several ways to look at this->
One: What does each thing in the dream mean to you personally? The farm, the water, being eaten alive. Even the color of the sky, the sound of laughter - absolutely everything.
Two: YOU are each thing in the dream. You are the farm, you are the water, etc. How does each make you feel?
Three: Dream Interpretation - what does a farm represent? A nurturing place, maybe? what does the water represent? Was it dirty, clear? And the FISH... wow, a lot of possibilities - a common symbol of fertility, psychic happenings, even Christ... but they are coming up from the water, which could mean thousands of little things from your unconscious eating you up... or simply that your H is a fisherman and you equate it to him eating you alive.
Most of all, remember that your dreams only make true sense to YOU... I have the books, but they may not answer what each part of the dream means to YOU... after all, YOU dreamed it!
Hope this helps.
Sheryl

I would interpret this to mean that you feel like you are being consumed by the whole painful situation and your h can just sit back and do whatever he wants (laughing) while you suffer.
When I was with exBF (the musician ironically) I used to dream about being attacked by vampires all the time. After doing some soul searching I realized that I felt the relationship was sucking the life out of me. Pretty literal, but accurate.
While H and I were separated I always had nightmares. It is a result of extreme stress.

Since we are talking bad dreams here, I've got one to interpret (this is kind of fun ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
When I got out of the army and packed up my house to move to Japan with my husband, I was told that I couldn't bring my two pet cats with me. I was heartbroken.
My cats were the only little people who kept me sane during all the months that my husband was fooling around with my head. My girl cat, Siamese, was an ankle-biter and could jump up and open doors. The boy cat was an orange stumpy Manx. He was the man of the family after my husband left. He slept on my husband's pillow. He did "male" things: got up on the counter while I was at work and ate all the bread. He used the ashes in my fireplace for a toilet. He protected the house--always sitting in the window chattering.
I took them to my mom's, hoping that they would be alright until I got back from Japan. It was terrible, because my mom lives on a busy road and there was no guarantee that they would make it for very long.
So wouldn't you know, as soon as I got to Japan, my mom called me and told my that my boy cat had been hit by a car.
It's silly, but I resent my husband so much for that! (Asking me to come to Japan with him when he had someone better in mind! Jerking me around.)
Now I am back home, and my kitty is gone. . .
I keep having this dream that he comes back to me. I have had this dream two or three times. At first, my cat is all nasty-looking, like he would look dead after being run over. Then he becomes his usual self, the way I remember him, all jaunty and silly.
I hardly ever remember my dreams, but this one bothers me a lot!
