Hi All,
This morning I received an email from my SIL, who I am close with, saying that H is "thinking". Can you guys please read this and give me your thoughts?

*********************************************
Hi Joanne,

How are things? Anything new? I had e-mail from Steve a while ago that sounded like he's "feeling" all the stuff that he's going through. I think he's out of denial and really facing the cold hard facts. I wish I could help him. I know he has to get through this on his own or he'll never learn.

Let me know how you're doing.

I can't sleep so I'm sending e-mail to everyone. Call me if you want.

Love,
SIL
*********************************************
p.s. I am going to respond to my thread regarding "seeing someone while separated" just haven't had the time yet. Please be patient!
Best,
Jo
------------------
Josie_Res@Hotmail.com
"Remain flexible like a reed, as opposed to an oak which can snap in the wind"

Jo:
I think that you have to spend less time "reacting" to what you're husband's doing, and ACTING in a way that you think is appropriate (and gives your marriage a chance).
It's information, but there's no way to be able to judge the reliability of it---not because of your SIL, but rather because of your husband's "confused mental state".
Jo, I think it is good that he is "thinking".... but hasn't he been doing that for a while.
I think what we want them to do is "feel" it.
I know that's what I would like my H to do, but he's not.....and I don't even think he is thinking about it...just compartmentalizing it all.
Keep up your good work with yourself, but hey, what is this about meeting someone.
Tell me what you are thinking about it all???
Try not to react. Believe me, I want to too. I want to run and hide one minute and the next I want to say sayanora and move on.
What I am finding is working the best...for me right now, is to do nothing. Keep me posted.
