H and I are doing pretty well in recovery. However, several months ago he pointed out the OW sister at the large hospital where I work. I had never noticed this person before and now I see her all the time! He said she was around them some and that she is a nice person. She is deaf so he only talked to her through OW. I know it's irrational, but I constantly fight feelings of dislike for this person. I have avoided eye contact so I don't scowl at her. I imagine things she might think of me and get all worked up. I have convinced myself I will smile at her and be friendly if the opportunity arises. Isn't it funny how the mind goes through all of these calisthenics? I have gotten angry at people who knew about A at the time, but really it was just between him and me. I hate that just seeing this sister brings up old negative feelings.
JR61,
If you want to hear silly, I can come up with something. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Although I have never met the OW I have a good idea what she looks like, my husband told me and then showed me a country singer who, apparently, is the spitting image of OW and now I cringe whenever I see a video by her or even hear her sing!! OW was secretary. Anybody at his office, or just being at his office for that matter triggers me. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] I hate it.
cleo

OW worked at office. Anyone chinless, protruding mouth, dark, and stunned-looking. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

H was introduced to OW#2 by a pro football friend of his. This guy plays for my hometown team, so needless to say, I'm no longer a fan! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Our ex-brother-in-law (H's sisters X) was a willing participant/helper w/affair #3. I know how ex treats my sis-in-law and our nephew... just bad news in general. When he brought decided to help H have this affair, I was so outdone. Disrespect sis and nephew, but don't disrespect me and my children!
He won't pay child support (nor see his son) and she can't afford to keep up the legal battle. (And no, H won't rat him out) As a single mom, sis-in-law often has financial problems and guess who she comes to, US. Although not related to affair, whenever she needs help, I can't help but think of him and what he is NOT doing yet he had plenty of time and money to PARTY w/H and OW! YUK!

xOW has the same name as the main character on a popular TV show. My triggers have gotten much better but this is one that still gets me every time. I can't watch the show and can't stand the sight of the actress (who seems to be everywhere these days!) I've never seen the OW but she was described to me by a friend as "extremely plain, with too short blond hair. Every time I see a girl who fits this description I feel grrrr.
