Hi Folks,
I've told Lora many times that since this A has started I have aged ALOT, I equated it to the President when he was first elected and they took a pix of him, then 4 years later they take another pix and he looks 20 years older, shows what stress can do to you.
Has anyone else experienced SRAAPS out there????

SRAAPS = Stress Related Accelerated Aged President Syndrome [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Jo
------------------
Josie_Res@Hotmail.com
"Remain flexible like a reed, as opposed to an oak which can snap in the wind"

Here I thought this posst was going to finally vocalize something I have been pondering. We all know Clintons nose looks like a penis, in fact alot of men noses do. so I was wondering if there is some conection with adulterers haveing penis noses. I am serious as a heart attack.

OK, LMAO here........really I am!
Yes, I have noticed a lot of new lines around my eyes...lovely side effect of all of this huh?
Others have told me I look ten years younger due to the weight loss. Thank God they're not here to see me at 6am as I examine the latest worry line.
But honestly, you guys crack me up. Clinton, IMHO is a very handsome SOB. Totally charming, lying [censored]...guess there must be something that kept Hillary around. Maybe she Plan A'd.
And the penis nose thing....lol...never thought I'd type those two words in the same sentence. My H has a little tiny nose, LOL, I can't go on with this one...

allison

I got to meet him once, at the pass and review for the anniversary of the End of the War in the Pacific--funny, when I met him, it was at the alleged heighth of the Monica Lewinsky affair (while it was supposedly going on.)
He didn't look to guilty, in my opinion. He was sunburned real good from playing golf, other than that, he was a pretty chipper president. ( I would have a hard time being cheerful while carrying such a secret, but that's me.)
He is, indeed, pretty nice-looking.
To me, his nose looked like a nose, albeit red and flaky.
[This message has been edited by Bernzini (edited October 10, 2000).]

I have had offsetting penalties..... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I am only 33 years old, but I have gone from a couple white hairs to A LOT of white hair in the last 9 months. Of course, I also lost 30 pounds, and tanned up when I was laying out by the pool in an emotionally stupor all summer. (Wife is the WS) So I am thinner, and I get a lot of compliments, but my hair IS turning white rapidly.
Oh well, it can turn any color it wants, just as long as it doesn't turn loose! The A hit me so hard in the self-esteem, I think I was in front of the mirror a lot. Didn't help that she was 24 and I was 38. We have to remember through it all (after the initial shock) to take really good care of ourselves -- drinks lots of water, get plenty of rest and exercise, eat right, get a hobby besides worrying about WS needs, and try to have some fun somehow! I think those little signs of aging can be reversed. When I was in school we talked about hands and feet -- now it's noses, LOL.

Hey Smallsteps4now,
White hair ain't such a bad thing. I'm 41, have lots of white (I call it pewter). Women of all ages are always telling me how they love my hair, makes me look distinguished! Or maybe they really mean "extinguished"??????
Anyway, I've decided that I've earned those sprouts and I'm enjoying the compliments. Glad you can too.
Rockaway

I have developed a few gray hairs, jut a touch on my temples and over my ears. But I have changed in apearence a lot recently but mostly because of personal choices.
I used to have long hair, just over shoulder length. Now I have it cut short, kinda like Harrison Ford's when he did "6 Days 7 Nights." My wife says I went through a "body hair adversion" stage and I guess I did. I plucked the only 6 hairs I had on my chest anyway, used clippers on my armpits (I just didn't want any hanging out) and shaped up the pubic area. I had somehow equated being hairy with poor hygene. Could be because OM is a hairy guy.
Anyway, whatever the reason, as long as I look good, I'm happy. (and I do look good [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] )
OK, so I'm vain. Sue me.

On a serious note, I went into deep depression and went from 145 pounds down to 125 when I deduced my wife's affair. It was the worst feeling of my life and came on top of losing a child less than a year earlier. But, the anti-depression meds really work and I encourage anyone feeling like they might be depressed go and get some help as soon as possible. It's the first step to improving yourself and is a sign of strength!
WAT
