While H has been in A and saying they were
so "IN LOVE" with OP..Do/Did you feel as if you were sleeping w/ another person's spouse?
The reason I ask this..is because my H has said that to me..that he felt like he was sleeping w/ another mans wife..

Dear Rose,
Biblically, it said that if one were to lay with a prostitute, one becomes bind with her and they become one.
This alludes to soulish ties as well because whatever lustful or other spirits therein can be transferred. Full repentance before God helps to deliver and break these ties.
I believe you are asking the Q from the point of your spouse being the BS. I think the BS feels that way because I told my WS that I feel, and biblically too, that he and CBanshee are one flesh as they cling together. It hurts too much. He has since broken the soulish ties as advised by the pastors.
Take care
weep

weep,
Thank you for replying
I guess, I never felt the oneness with my spouse, not even when we married. But, as you know from other posts he's never been here
and we haven't had an opportunity to grow
together as one I guess.
My situation is so much different than everyone else here I guess..because most everyone w/ their betrayal it's been another person..with ours his affair has been with his job for nine years..with no thought of the family except for he's supporting them financially so he's doing his duty as a husband and father and he see's us when he can...when he's been here he hasn't been here..he's always taking calls and making calls to and from work..and/or he's drinking..doesn't matter if we have been on vacation or what..
I don't know..I guess others wouldn't view it
the same way..but to me..if one spouse is putting his work before the family it's the same as an affair..putting the other person
before the family..with no thought as to how the others are hurting or what their needs are beyond financial support..and after basically nine years of neglect, sleeping alone and asking him to look for another job where he can be here every night..I guess I was hoping by telling him about the A that he would take notice of what missing here..and begin to look for something so that he could be here..all to no avail..I told him in March
when he was between jobsites..and he could have taken the time to look for another job..
and still refused to do so. and no matter how many times I have asked him in the past 7 years even as recently as last month to find another job..he still refuses..
I guess it just hurts to face the fact that
he is choosing his job over his family..
so yes, I had an affair that lasted a few months..but I feel his has been going on since we married..

I always KNEW I was "the wife" and he should be only with me, but I felt like I was getting the "sloppy seconds". Funny thing too, she said to him that she felt the same way. I guess that means that he was always #1 in all his games.
