Good Lord!
Please tell me what else is going on with you, I haven't posted a lot since the 16th (H contact day) and I'm feeling better ... was pretty depressed but I got thru it for now.
Steve's supposed to call me this week, looking for some spare tranquilizer's from friends so I have back-up, ya know??? LOL!
Please tell me how you are, Hon.
Lv,
Jo
------------------
Josie_Res@Hotmail.com
"Remain flexible like a reed, as opposed to an oak which can snap in the wind"
[This message has been edited by Resilient (edited October 24, 2000).]

Oh good, I'm so glad you responded. Thanks! I'll be on tonight too.
I hope you and your kids are well, Allison.
Must be the name "Steve" is synonymous with "Schmuck" ... because as you well know, that's my H's name also. That and "Stupid [censored]"! Ok, my next husband will NOT be a Steve...LOL.
What a joy to log on this morning and see so many new (and old) faces...well, names I guess. Victoria, I'm going to read your post after I post.
I don't have any big news, or updates. Things are pretty much on hold here. H calls daily, but is "getting" what I am doing with the no contact thing I guess. He thinks it just means that we can't lay eyes on each other. The phone calls depress me and are driving me nuts. The receptioninst here does not put his calls through any more at my request, and that's pissing him off.
So, he calls at night now mostly...interesting calls, mostly about kids, plans, you guys know the scoop. He still refers to "our" this and "we" should do this or that. Thats sort of encouraging I guess. He thanked me profusley for letting him stay at the house last weekend while I was on a burro trip, yep I said burro...lol...it was fun to have some fun.
I assume he is still dating the woman he went to high school with...I refuse to discuss it with him. But I'll tell ya, if he even thinks about having our kids around her...ack...can't even think about it. TooTrusting, you haven't had to face that one yet have you?
Jo, you are such a doll to ask about me. I am trying really hard to hold up. My youngest turned 13 this week and he just sobbed because he thought that his dad would be living at home again by his 13th birthday. What do I do with that one. I'm pretty good until I see the pain inflicted on my kids, then whoa....I seethe.
Please keep me updated Jo. Have you talked to schmuck...oops...Steve again this week? Do you feel like he is going to file or anything? Lostva keeps me going during these times too...miracles do happen hon, not for everyone, but once in a while.
Boy I sure made a long post out of no news here.
Just one more thing I want to mention. The money thing is getting scary. It's like he is pushing me into doing something legal here. He has so much resentment over the way things were over the last 20 years you guys. He lost it when I asked him to cover one of the checks that bounced because he closed the account. Said I had always been a "spender". Ok you guys, I am a Target shopper...he had a tailor come to his office and make his suits and shirts at a ridiculous price. Do I even try to defend myself here? His version of the past is skewed badly.
Ranting again...too much coffee.
I should be on tonight, schmuck is taking the kids to dinner. Hope to talk to you guys later. We should find a place to "chat" on-line. Any ideas?
Love you all...
~allison
