Need advice, Last yr nov 99 I started a new job (produce) which required me to leave town for 5 month and be away from my family for the 1st time. My wife was having a diffcult time with this but was trying not to show this to me. She started to depend on her girlfriends for company.
This started the down fall when it was my schedule weekend off to come home (every 3wks) she wasn't there for me. This then became a problem for me trying to deal with my wife going out with friends and me on the road driving home 9 hrs to only come home to an empty house.
I expressed my feeling about this and told her when it was my shedule weekend to come home for her to please be there for me.
I told her I needed her to be here for me while I was in town to spend that quality time together (as a family). She advised me she was enjoying her new passion going out with the girls and getting a break from the kids.
When I got back in mar 2000 things had already changed even more and the communication between the 2 of us was gone. I started to express my feelings for a co-worker which in turn (also having martial problems) we turned together for confort. I only kiss this person but was ready to go further with this.
In July my wife read one of my email I sent to the OW, there I had stated about getting together with her in hotel room that weekend. My wife was so upset and angry and was ready to boot me out. I explained to her what was happening and that I really didn't want to be with this OW, but that my wife of 8yrs was not longer there for me.
I was crying out for her and she was to involed with her friends to see what was coming. We are trying consuling but she said she not ready to forgive me with all of this right now, she want a separation. I advised her I was leaving again next month (4mnts) hopefully this will give her time to sort out what she wants in this marriage.
I am not the most patients person in the world but I have to do what ever it takes to get my wife back. I have given her what she wants (her space) to be out with her girlfriends, but I feel one of them is encourage her to leave me (she also is separated from her H who also cheated on her).
She is now going out and not coming home till the next day. I want to believe her that she is spending the night with friends but in the back of my mind I feel there is someone else in the picture. I am still seeing my counslor to deal with this matter.
Please anyone with anymore advised would greatly be appreciated Thanks Papa
[This message has been edited by papa (edited October 27, 2000).]
[This message has been edited by papa (edited October 27, 2000).]
