I went up to see my in laws this weekend. They are good for my ego. My MIL told me she told H that I was invited for The holidays and if he din't like it or was going to be difficult he could not come. SIL said they all know I was good for him, helped him reach some goals and allowed him to spend money on his toys. She thinks he is spoiled and selfish and feels the world owes him something. And that the most foolish thing he ever did was to leave me.
I found out he went to Vegas with a "friend"
What is it with cheaters and Vegas anyway? Must like the idea of sin city. LOL He is also still saying that it is a trail seperation.
But I think forced plan B is working for me too. I think I can go for the holidays and know they want me there and tough what he thinks. It really is his problem. I am not sure I want him back. I miss alot about our relationship, but there is some things I dont miss, and he would have to do alot of work to change, and I dont think he has much motivation. Then I went shopping and bought some great clothes to wear for thanksgiving. I hope I can go and be strong and confident and look my best and hold my head up. Because I didn't do anything wrong, and I am OK.
Lora

TM,
Thanks for the encouragement!
Meg,
I didnt used to buy many clothes either. New clothes along with the infidelity weight loss plan should have me looking better! I hope I get some restraint back though... can't afford to spend that much every weekend. But it was just what I needed this weekend.
Wow, that must have been some coat!!! LOL
Lora

I'm so bummed the weight I lost came back on--I think part of it is cooking (er & eating ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/rolleyes.gif) ) again.
Lora--in the midst of our separations I went to Guard's family reunion weekend, which he coordinated. I was very helpful. His family knew we had *troubles* but not the what and several of his aunts cornered me with hints of being a *good* wife. Geez, I just started sobbing--I'd been pretty tense. But I heard more family secrets...genetic predispositions?...than I'd ever guessed at.
Sometimes family gatherings put things all into perspective.
I'm glad his family is supporting you.
------------------
Lor
"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."
(Proverbs 15:1).
