Wife & I had a heart to heart last night. She told me the OM no longer had any influence on her. She even called him spineless!!! She told me that she had spoken to their boss (CEO)a few weeks ago and asked that they not work or travel together when ever possible because she wanted to try to restore her marriage and family. Previously Mr. Boss was condoning the affair and even helping to cover.
To top it off she told me that she was probably going on a company awards trip (presidents club) to Caribbean beach resort and she wanted to talk to me about taking me with. BTW- OM will be there. This is the 1st time since I left the company about mid-affair (all 3 of us were VPs) where she has considered bringing me along. A huge vote of acceptance in my book.
Hey I don’t know if the tides will shift again but I'm liking the warm and balmy waters that I'm in today. So to all you betrayed husbands out there it can get better. Read some of my past posts..my situation was about as bad as it could get without involving physical abuse or chemical addiction. Thank god for humility, patience and perseverance. Thank you to all posters on this board. Without the MB insight I'm not sure how I would have or could have handled the last 1.5 years.
Gota go. We're going out back firing up the boat and heading to a secluded island beach to bask in the sun and ???

[This message has been edited by Hi Infidelity (edited November 17, 2000).]
