Peppermint~
I wanted to start a new thread in regards to breast augmentation to you.
"Peppermint wrote:
I have been wanting to have reduction done. If you don't mind my asking, how long was recovery time? Do you have a lot of scarring? How much difference is there? All the information I have received has been very discouraging and I'm glad to hear from someone who is pleased with it."

I had this done almost four years ago. I know what it feels like to be a "normal" size now. Before finding clothes of any type to fit was hard to do without looking like a tent. I am so happy, happy that I have had this done and would do it again if I were in that position. Also since then I have recommended several friends that have had it done as well.
In regards to your questions: My recovery time was one week and only because the doctor said I need this time. I work at a desk job and don’t have much lifting involved. So it really depends on your work and lifestyle. I must tell you that you don’t want to push your recovery and over do it, because it can cause ripping or tearing of the cuts. There is scarring but it had faded to the color of my skin. Sensitive was my main concern, let me tell you I am more sensitive then before, but it again depends on the person. The difference is huge for me because they took four pounds from me. Just imagine buying a four pound bag of sugar at the store. My back, neck and shoulders really feel so much better. One more thing my insurance paid for most of it since it was a medically necessary. My doctor was great in helping get this approved. With the pain that went along with big breast I agree that it was something need I done.
I truly recommend you talk with your doctor, with advancements in the medical field there is always improvement in all medical procedures.
Good luck,
Judy
Hi Judy,
Thanks for the info. I've been wondering how you are doing, and hope things are still going well with you and your husband.
I'm going to try diet and exercise for a while and see if that can help before I make the big decision to go "under the knife". Since dday # 1 I have gained 20 pounds and a big part of that is in my breasts (go figure). So I'm hoping that if I lose the 20 lbs. I can return to my normal C size.
Thanks again,
Peppermint

Peppermint~
Thanks for asking we are doing really good. Today is my B-Day and my husband has been great, really spoiling me. We have a long ways to go working on our marriage, but time really does help. My H like Firestorm got his eyes open the OW showed her true colors to him. I feel like he is the man I feel in love with years ago. I am just careful and not giving all my trust again.
How are the both of you doing?
Diet and exercise is something that is tough to do, but I agree important. Normal size "C" that is what I am at now.
Thanks
Judy
Happy Birthday Judy!
I'm glad to hear things are going so great in your marriage. We are doing okay as well. I know what you mean about trust though, it really takes a lot of time and effort for that, but if things continue to get better, we'll both get there!
Keep in touch and let me (and everyone here) know that things can and do get better!
Peppermint
