I just picked up on a different thread about dreams regarding WS and OC.<P>I thought I would start a new topic here asking people what dreams they heve had since the 'nightmare' began.<P>Let me begin with the two (and only two) I can recall:<P>1) I dreamt the night he told me he was leaving me for OW that I was riding round and round a traffic island on a motorbike as a passenger. I didn't realize it was me at first but when I saw that the passenger had both their hands cut off I knew it was me. Not nice I know but dreams thankfully are not real. My H did not figure in it anywhere.<P>2) I only dreamt about my H once. In the dream I was walking up a hill. It was very misty/foggy and I was walking carefully because I knew that on my right side there was a steep cliff. I was not on a path but more an area where the grass had been cut shorter. A bit like someone had created a path by taking a mower through the overgrown grass. As I walked, I suddenly heard someone running up behind me. I turned to look but because of the mist I couldn't see that it was my H until he was almost next to me. He didn't seem to see me at all and carried on running. I opened my mouth to shout a warning about the cliff but nothing came out. I woke up so don't know if he fell or not.<P>I am sure there are a lot of interpretations of both dreams. <P>Has anyone had anything similiar? What do they mean?<P>Hope

Hope - my dreams don't seem too much different. Once in a while my wife shows up and we we are back together. Just the same, Sandra Bullock showed up the other night - with my son. I've never dreamt of OM. Could be because all the people in my dreams usually have a bit more logic than average bathroom fungus.<P>WAT

WAT,<P>I have never dreamt of OW (nor have I ever dreamt of Sandra Bullock). If I were you, I would get some bleach to that bathroom fungus(OM), what on earth is he doing in there? I regularly imagine throwing my bathroom fungus into the waste disposal in the kitchen. Short, sharp and effective. You can even put in a bit of Draino for good measure.<P>I have never dreamt that my husband came back. I imagined once that I heard his car in the drive and once I did come upstairs in the middle of the night with a glass of water and asked if he wanted some before I remebered he wasn't there.<P>It is possible to put it all out of your mind for a few moments.<P>Hope

a trip into my twisted mind.........<BR>H and I go to the grocery store. She is there. He tricks me and leaves with her. She has come in a car other than her so that when we get there I will not see her car. I see them walking out of the store together. He says nothing to me. just gives me that look....<P>yuck

The one good thing I can say is that I almost never dream about this situation at all. I think the reason for that is that I think about it ALL DAY LONG. I think I've read somewhere that you tend to dream about things that you are not thinking about during the day as a way of dealing with them. Interestingly enough, the one nightmare I did have recently came when H was back for one week to try and work on our marriage right before Christmas! I'm sure that is telling in some way.
