Did anyone see the Oprah show Friday (1/12)? Apparently the gist was that divorce does have a very significant effect on the children contrary to "current societal expectation". The website (www.oprah.com) has a summary.
I have resisted the urge to tell my wife about it yet, but did print it out.
Bill

Yes, I saw it. Amazing information, isn't it?!
I am not sure how that information would be received by your wife. If she would consider it a love-buster, I would resist. But, if you are able to chit-chat about general things, maybe you could bring it up in conversation?

If I showed it to my H, he would latch on to the information that if you work well together, the children will be all right.
My arguments if you can work well together, why can't you work things out.
We will never work well together if he marries her. Sing,
But, that show did not say that it would work out okay if you work well together. It had conclusive evidence that it will effect your children later on in life. It is really sad.
