... until you get just a little taste of it. No, I haven't started seeing anyone or anything like that.
It's a hug. I don't get many hugs. Especially from attractive men that aren't related to me! But today, I got a nice hug... :sigh: and remembered what they feel like. :sigh: again.
Where I work (a college) we have had the wonderful opportunity to have some international students attending. We had a group of Brazilian students start a couple of years ago, and last year we had a group of students from the Dominican Republic. These young men are A) young; B) dedicated students; C) good looking; D) very affectionate and physically demonstrative; E) young (that's the part I have to keep reminding myself about! LOL!)... They have all been wonderful to me - I have never shared anything about my life outside of the college walls, so it is just plain old genuine affection. Today one of them saw me for the first time in a week or so and gave me such a big hug ... well, it almost made me cry, but made me smile, too...
But it also made me miss having someone at home to hug me.
Don't worry. I'm fine - I'm not really sad, nor am I going to do anything silly - I just needed to tell someone, and know that someone will read this pretty soon...
I just wished it was my husband is all...
------------------
terri
Courage
Whatever course you decide upon,
there is always someone to tell you
that you are wrong.
There are always difficulties arising
which tempt you to believe that your
critics are right.
To map out a course of action
and follow it to an end
requires courage.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ah, Sweetie, I'd hug you if we weren't some 1500 miles apart. 'Course, I'm not a guy... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Terri}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Terri ....
Here's a great big HUG from me. One day I know you'll get bundles of hugs to make up, from some wonderful man that knows how very special you are.
You are the Best Ever, Terri!!! You must know that ... we all do!
Hang in there Honey.
Jo
[This message has been edited by Resilient (edited January 27, 2001).]

glad you got that hug. I know what you meant. I get hugs from my YS, even at almost 9 he still is a cuddle bug, my OS will even give hugs sometimes, I have to ask others, but he is good about indulging his mom.

so here is a ((((((HUG)))))) all the way from Singapore, how is that for long distance.
