Two weeks and counting until the Divorce is final. For the last month, W has been wavering, unsure about whether or not divorce is the right thing to do. She's always been unsure, really, but here's the pattern:
OM lives in Vegas. A 1 hour flight or a 5 hour drive away. She goes to visit every month or so on the pretext that she's visiting her other HS friend who lives there. Each time she comes back, she is adamant about going ahead with the divorce.
After a few weeks away from OM, she begins wavering, and talking about the "future" of our relationship.
Well, she got back from a weekend in Vegas on Monday. She's going back in two weeks. As before, she was cold and unfeeling to me the past two days. Today she told me she needs to divorce me for sure. She says she needs to be "focused" on what she's doing (the divorce), and how it wouldn't be "fair" to her if we didn't get divorced....arrrgggg!!!
I'm suspecting that a few weeks after the divorce that the old wavering W will come back, only she won't be my W!
Anyone else been through this sort of thing?

Yes, as a matter of fact, this happened to me, too.
The OM took a job on the east coast (we are in Cal) for about six weeks. It was the only time she has been civil to me since this thing started almost a year and a half ago.
But then he came back and things were back to normal.
Oh well, her loss. I am finding it very hard to have any compassion for her these days.
