He stopped by today w/candy for the girls. . very sweet, it touches my heart when he thinks of them, they love him so much.
We talked about doing our Valentine's Day over the weekend. I told him I have something for him, nothing big or expensive, just fun. (I've got a feeling he's going to be with OW tonight, cuz he didn't say he would call me later & he usually does). Oh well, I can't dwell on those kinds of thoughts anyhow.
What I think I'm going to do (especially after our talk on the way back from VA this weekend) is blow up a whole bunch of balloons that each have a little note inside. Just notes about fun times we've had together, or little private jokes we have, or things that I admire about him. I'm up to 64! I'm hoping to get to 100. Anyhow, I'll just have them all in my bedroom & give him a needle.
Do you guys think it will be too much? Seem too pushy?
I hope all of you have the happiest day possible today. You know what's weird? Today didn't really bother me as much as I thought it would. . all kinds of people were getting flowers at work today & I thought I would really feel sh)&%$, but I didn't. Maybe because I'm getting better at this Plan A stuff (the for ME part?)?????

Bitsy,
I don't get a chance to come here very often but I read your post about the weekend and wondered what happened after the trip.
You're right not to worry too much about what H is doing tonight. Chances are he will be thinking about you wherever he is.
I love your balloon idea. Since you still need a few balloons, heres a couple of ideas if you want them; put "coupons" in a few of the balloons for "innocent" things like 1 free load of laundry (I know, but what man likes to do his own laundry). How about one for a car wash, 6-pack of his favorite beverage or even something personal like a pedicure (done by you of course)? You could even put $1 bills in a couple of them.
Whatever you do, I hope you, your H and your children have a wonderful evening.
Prayers,
HL

I like the balloons idea too, and the coupons idea. Keep it up...I bet he won't get any of this from OW. You'll keep racking up points.

Bitsy, What a great and creative idea!!!
Here are my ideas for your balloons, if it would be appropriate to throw in a few new together times:
an evening at a go cart race track together
a foot massage
an evening or lunch date at a video arcade
--maybe they'll trigger some others....
