<B>Hello all</B><P>I posted this on the recovery forum, but I didn't want to miss anyone who is over here all the time. <P>I came to this site two years ago today. I lurked and didn't register until May 5, 1999. So, I just wanted to do something here to thank all of those who have helped get me through this. So this is my gift to you all. (Now I am going to go through the insurmountable task of trying to remember each and every one of you. Wish me luck!) One more thing, there is no rhyme or reason to the way each and every one of you are listed on this upcoming list. The names are just coming as my memory allows and a bit of searching to boost that memory. I have changed a few of the words, but just a few. If this is a trigger song for any of you, I am so sorry. Maybe this can help you get new meaning from these words, and it won’t be a trigger anymore? I mean the words to this song from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you members of this site.<P>I hope you all take this with the deep felt gratitude that I feel and how I intended for this to come off. Gee, seeing all of those names brought me back to when i first started coming here! And made me realize how much i have changed! It took 2 years but I find myself at ease with ME! what could be better than that!

Well, that is what you and the rest of us are doing is surviving. It's great when our marriages thrive in spite of the affair or because of it in the long run. Unfortunately everyone doesn't get to do that. It's a very sad fact of life. I still say it is the WS that looses their marriages that are the failures. Everyone has failures in life and makes mistakes. It's just part of life, and part of the journey. Growing is painful always. If there were not pain, then none of us would change and grow. That pain is the catalyst.<P>I am really glad I got to help you see the song in a different light. Until that moment in my car, it made me if not sad, melancholy when I heard it. Now it makes me smile. I could also put God in my thoughts and sing that song to Him. I have often wondered why our recovery over here wasn't more like yours and Firestorms? Then I finally realized recently that as unique as all of us are here, so are "our" recoveries. No two anything is alike. Just like the human race. wow, that was more than I was prepared to read. I am new on this site and not sure at all that my marriage will survive, but I do know that *I* will somehow. I have found a lot of strgnth from this site, although I feel awfully week after reading your post. Best wishes to you in all you do, LL

Thank you ALL so much for being there when we needed someone to share our pain and burden. So many people here have been able to life us up and help us to find our way.
