WAT & Survivor-
I don't think he's ready for SAA or a no contact letter yet, or at least not ready for me to ask him to read it or write it. I feel like he's been handling it fairly well on his own anyhow. Without too much pressure from me & I think right now, that's important to him. . and also a way I can show him changes in me. I want him to stop contact with her because he wants to, not because I ask him to. Especially since she's contacting him, he's not initiating contact w/her, although he's replying (but I don't think he's replying the way she wants him too!!). Also, I think it's still an ego stroke for him, which he still needs-BUT very soon I hope this will be comming only from me!!
I think that after he gets moved, and settled a little that we will begin to discuss these kinds of things. But I don't want to bring it up now. The things I have been saying to him though is stuff like, "We can make it through anything, we can work things out, no matter what". He likes it.
This is definately progress, and I only see it getting better. I've just got to hold off right now with any demands. It's not the right time yet. I'll know when it is.
And Survivor-I agree, GET a freaking life of your own!! He also told me yesterday that she just got a job (she mentioned this in her email to him-that's why she wasn't home when the "newspaper??" what dropped on her doorstep). She didn't even work??? She does not have custody of her children, what the he*& does this OW do all day? What a pitiful excuse for a human. As much ambition as Jim has, and as much importance as he puts on careers (he's always told me how proud he is of my w/my job, promotions, etc.) I can't believe he would even be interested in someone who doesn't even work at all??!! Just another example of the fog!
Thanks guys-I will most likely be using your ideas, just not yet!
