Did you get them to erase your previous posts? I am considering changing my name here, and erasing my old posts.
I was talking to Jennifer Harley and she said well you H proably counldnt figure out who you are, you didnt use your real name did you? Gulp, well, I did change the spelling ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
He is making tiny steps toward returning and the thought of asking him to follow the Harleys principles and maybe his posting here has me in a bit of a panic... what did I say? How much spying did I admit to? Surley I never said anything bad about OW ,right?
So please let me know how you went about having it done please and I will try to come up with another name.
Thanks
Lora

Lora-it's just me, I hope that you didn't see the "1" response & think that it was Lady Clueless, and now you're disapointed.
But I just had to say-YIKES!!!!!-if Jim would ever want to come here I would have a lot of erasing to do too!!
As far as bad things about the OW, she's such a wonderful person, I'm sure you never, ever, had any bad thoughts about her, let alone ever voiced them anywhere! I'll be following this post to see the response, just in case I ever need it!
Good luck!

Hi, Lora,
I wrote to Tempest and asked her to delete my posts. I don't think she's had time to do it, so I've started editing them, a few at a time.
My H is computer illiterate ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif) , so I'm not worried about his coming here. No, I haven't used any real names, but there's enough information that my children could ID me, and they know far more about the situation than I ever wanted them to know. They don't need to know the nitty-gritty details. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/shocked.gif)
Bitsy,
Yes pretty scary huh? I imagine some of my posts would be enough to send my recovering spouse straight into the arms of that wonderful OW
Lady clueless,
How do you edit posts without bringing them back to the top?
Thanks,
Lora

Lora, Maybe at some point your H might begin to empathize with how you feel about OW and about what this whole experience has been like for you. I haven't seen many positive descriptions of OPs by BSs. Maybe it would help him to realize that you are no different than anyone else and that what he did was the most hurtful thing one partner could do to another in a marriage. I think this would be helpful, if not required, for full recovery.

Letstry,
well to be truthful its not the OW stuff that worries me its the snooping I have done. I plan to tell him, but I would like to tell him, not stumble upon it by himself.
Lora

I know every situation is different, but it wasn't until my H started reading here (including my posts, although he didn't know at first who I was) that the fog began to lift and he really began to see what the BS goes through. He finally owned up to everything, including his non-involvement in the first 8 months of our supposed recovery. He even posted something himself, quite eloquently, on Valentine's Day. It's a must-read--see the post by Repentant in In Recovery. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif) Yep, that's my hubby. Maybe there is light at the end of this long, dark tunnel!
------------------
"Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:7

I thought editing them would bring them to the top, but it didn't.

Lora,
My advice to you is to wait a longgggggggggggggg time before sharing your snoop details with H (he doesn't have to know everything right away). Please don't change your name. How will we keep up with you if you do? We've been together since last summer and I do recall several of your posts without re-reading them, they were a real hoot and we had some good laughs from them.
BTW, I am so excited for you!
Cathy

The only problem is in a few replys to what I wrote.
Catplay,
I know, I was going to wait awhile before I went the whole truthful route.
lora
