I have a question about computers and posting.<P>When I go to post a reply and or post a new topic My user name and password **** show up on my screen automatically. Does anyone know how I can stop this from automatically popping up. Can I disable it somehow?<P>Hopelessmom

Sure. Go to the top of the screen to Tools/Internet Options/ then click on the Content tab, look for "auto-complete" and click. This will open the Auto-Complete settings box. You can clear the info, or passwords, and you can also clear the little check boxes which will keep the info from being saved in the future.<BR>David

David is probably right. There is more and more autocomplete in MS programs. Try that first. If not, it's probably getting the info from a "cookie", which is a file put on your hard drive so that a web site can customize your experience when you revisit it.<P>I think you will need to do two things. First, find out where the directory with the cookie(s) is(are), and delete it(them). On my PC the sudirectory with the cookies is called "cookies". In my case I see "Steve@www.marriagebuilders[1].txt" and "Steve@www.marriagebuilders[2].txt".<P>Once you find and delete any cookies you probably need to search the help of whatever browser you use and perhaps change the setting to warn before accepting cookies or not accept them at all.
