the dr had prescribe that medication for me, but it made me worse. i cried more and i still couldn't sleep. i don't know, i'm not the type of person to take medicine, not even with a headache, but to me it made me worse. so right now i don't take a thing, and maybe that is why i go back and fourths, anyway, different medication effects people differently and it may work for you. i wish i would just float away.

elo, I'm taking Celexa on the recommendation of Steve Harley and it seems to be working well and I have no side effects.

elo,
I am a nurse, and have also taken Celexa for my depression. I have taken 5 different anti-depressant drugs before. Celexa made me relax enough to sleep at night. It made me feel strong enough to get things done. It does have its side effects such as dry mouth, decreased libido(mild),I found it to be a good drug for me. I will tell you, if you don't have insurance to pay, 20mg a day (Standard dose) for a month will cost you around $65. Good luck!!!!!!

CELEXA -- MIRACLE FOR ME!!!
I have tried others and didn't ever notice much change. With Celexa, I could tell a difference in just 4 or 5 days and can't even believe how much better I feel.
The side effect are generally mild, and after your body adjusts, you won't even notice them. I'd recommend trying it!
Sun

I took for a few months around the holidays in 2000. It really helped me cope with the stresses of the holidays and impending divorce. I had no side effects.
