Out of curiosity, are there any former WS in recovery that have had any triggers that reminded them of the OP?<P>If you did have a trigger, did the trigger may you reminesce and think kindly of OP? Or, did the trigger make you think negatively?<P>In addition, how far along are you in recovery with your spouse?

My H and I are in recovery for 3 months and I have a LOT of triggers. The reaction to these triggers varies, depending on my mood. Yes, some of these triggers cause me to reminisce and think fondly of OM, but more often than not they cause me to feel pain.

My h tells me that he had not one happy memory of her or that time in his life. Looking back in hindsight he disgusted by their behaviour and remembers her as a low low period of his life. <P>I am not sure if he has triggers but tells me that the only time he thinks of her is when I bring it up. He also states that things like women smelling like cigarette smoke and way too much perfume reminds him of her and he almost becomes physically ill.<P>Not to say he is blaming her just taht thinking of her reminds him of how low he can go.<BR>
