Hey you!!!
((((((((((((((((((heartache))))))))))))))))))
I saw you 'popped' your head in on flygirl's thread....
had to say 'hey'!!
remember when we had all those 'parties' on the boards about a year and a half ago??....with cabana boys, large beverages in pineapples, sigh.....and we'd all just gab...
missing that....
so pull up a towel, stretch out, enjoy the turquoise waves and the sound of surf, ignore the stray loud seagull, and wait patiently for the waiter to bring our drinks...
so, what's new?

DYLAN-------my long lost friend. How the heck are you? I saw you too ;0
My life has been..........well-good and sad. A lot has happened since I left here-thinking I was going to heal oh so fast.
While I am doing well in the healing department it did take me 5 months of chit chat with the OW and thinking we could rekindle the old friendship we had to discovering that it isn't going to happen-ever. I am doing OK with that-I tried-and I saw much that cleared up things in my fogged filled head.H and I are still doing well-he has ventured on to taking a firefighting academy course so he can do volunteer work up at the local fire department. When he competes this he will take the EMT course. I am proud of him-and he will be doing things that will fill his needs to give back to our community.
The kids are well and sassy-as always [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Tell me-how the heck are you?
I miss you oh so much.
I would never forget those parties-LOL
------------------
*heartache*
"Life's A Dance
You Learn As You Go.
Sometimes You Lead
Sometimes You Follow!
Don't worry 'Bout What You Don't Know
LIfe's A Dance
You Learn As You Go."
[This message has been edited by heartache (edited April 10, 2001).]

the thing needs to run it's course.....
we all secretly think we are superwomen, and we will be the 'one'that heals quikly, we'll be ok, our damage will be minimal, etc...blah, blah...
you can't deal with much of the bullcrap until you deal with some inner parts of yourself....it took me a awhile of living in denial, and then living selfishly within my own problems and neuroses to figure out that I just HAD to relax...
it's still there...but that stupid old cliche is stupidly true....lol.....time does indeed heal....it is a process that you cannot rush, define nor explain properly because it is such an intensly person journey for one and all....elements can be similar to others, even curcumstances and emotions, but at the core of it, it is personal and a life-altering journey in the truest sense ...
you'll get there when you get there....just give yourself the tools and information and faith you need to see you through it....
as for the OW thing....I believe in the need for closure on many levels....honey, you need to do what YOU need to do....explore all avenues......why the hell not....with time comes the ability to see through 'wisened' (is that a word?)..eyes...more logically, less intensly emotionally....I could probably bump into OW somewhere and be civil...and walk away....I hope that, at least...I am into fixing me right now...I have no time to waste in my short life on thoughts of her, or reactions to her, and if I thought a conversation with her would help me, hey! I'd be at her door with a bottle of wine, sayin' hey, can we talk?....but it's ok....
I am healing.....Deut is healing.....we are healing.....
ok......so what are you having to drink?...
and can you pass the coconut oil?]

Back with the candles (they're for ME, ME, ME!!!) and the SALMON for the whip -- and that's for ALL OF US!!
Recipe for Salmon Whip [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]:
Salmon
Whipped Cream (heavy)
Take a blender, then put the salmon in (boned, of course -- you don't think I'd keep 'em in do ya? Sheesh!) and then add the cream.
Turn on blender.
Pour into fancy glass - crystal is lovely so you can enjoy the pretty pink color. But if you left the eyeballs, dark green is best.
Put in a loopy straw, like the kind from the dollar store that looks like a roller coaster.
Enjoy!!
I know **I** will!!
