I feel like I have nothing else to talk about except my divorce and the problems with my wife. It is almost like im obsessed with the subject. Think go on in my daily life that i cant discuss with my friends and family, but i always seem to come back to my divorce. And it is always the same things. I know this is probally normal, but how do I break this?
------------------
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

It's totally normal.
Try turning the focus off of you and onto someone else. Ask about THEIR day, their lives, their problems, and see what you can do to help!!
The only thing in my experience that will break this is time.
I did the same thing for almost a year. Now I can acutally think of other things, except when some court thing is happening with the stbx.
Get involved with other people, etc. and that should help as well.

I did the same thing-for a very long time. The whole story of my life consumed my thoughts always.
I like the advice given you by BrambleRose-focus on the other person you are around or with. Ask about them-fight the urge to "think" about your situation.
I didn't want to be around anyone because i knew I would break down and tell all that was happening in my life. I didn't know how to "NOT" think about it.
But I think had I been able to slowly force myself into thinking more about the people I was with or around I could have done a bit better than I did.
And in time-that dirty word-it will ease from your mind.
Hang in there-it isn't easy but you can do it!!
------------------
*heartache*
"Life's A Dance
You Learn As You Go.
Sometimes You Lead
Sometimes You Follow!
Don't worry 'Bout What You Don't Know
LIfe's A Dance
You Learn As You Go."
