For child support. After 9 months of her not paying, I finally got the order restarted. However, because of my move, she got more time with the kids. And since I had to drop out of school, my income is double what it was at the first hearing.
Also, she quit the job she had at the time of the hearing and now is working for about half plus tips.
We are not talking high finance here. I make just over 40K and she makes 20.
Y'know, all I really want is for her to take responsibility for her actions. She made the decision to leave. At the very least 1) see your children for the time the court allowed (this is better, but still not all the time) and 2) pay your da*n child support at the level you are able. Not your little part time waitress job.
Again, we are only talking a couple of hundred dollars. Best case I will get $277 a month. Barely enough to pay for food.
But it really sticks in my craw.
Y'all have a good day tomorrow. I won't.

Good luck to you. The entire thing is darned unfair, isn't it?
------------------
terri
Courage
Whatever course you decide upon,
there is always someone to tell you
that you are wrong.
There are always difficulties arising
which tempt you to believe that your
critics are right.
To map out a course of action
and follow it to an end
requires courage.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
