When you were having your affair, and didnt want to work things out with your spouse. After you got what you wanted did you later regret it? Even though at the time you thought you didnt care and were strong and nothing bothered you? My stbx acts as if divorcing me and getting the OM is her destiny in life. and to me she really doesnt act like she is in an pain by never seeing me again. I was never mean to her, she has never laughed or had as much fun as she had with me(though she told me at one time).
I just want to know if there is a possiblity that even getting the OM will make her happy for a little while. And that maybe she will be sad some from losing me?
------------------
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Regrets suck, and yes, I do have some.
The BIGGEST regret occured on the day of our anniversary, 1999. My then-H sent flowers, and came to my job all dressed up, gift in hand.
I hadn't bought a gift for him because we'd decided not to (he went against what we'd agreed upon - bless his heart)...
I walked out to meet him with <another big sigh> the OM, who waved to my then-H. I thought it was a nice gesture - BLECH [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I think of that day now, and truth be told, it will be two years tomorrow, and I still cry. My ex ***was*** trying, and I was too blind to see it.
Now, I can tell you that in my case, he cheated on me many times, and he hurt me in ways that I don't care to even think about. But for MY PART, I feel bad about this day.
